What Are You a Genius At?

When was the last time you stopped to think about what your strengths are? It can be easy to get caught up in all of the improvements we need to make that we lose sight of our strengths and how to optimize them. Checkpoint 9.1 of the Universal Design for Learning framework is about promoting expectations and beliefs that optimize motivation. We are all more motivated when we are leveraging our strengths in our work and our personal lives.

The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.
— Pablo Picasso

In preparing for a keynote recently I came across this video from Shelley Moore called What Are You a Genius At and I was immediately excited. This is exactly the message I share in my How to G.R.O.W. Your Impact presentations!

Now I want to challenge you to answer the question “What are you a genius at?” Remember, if you aren’t sure, text your mom or your best friend and see what they have to say! Then shout out your strengths on our Genius Padlet below.
